About the Work Study Program
Work Study at Aquinas is a form of financial aid. Work Study awards are provided to students as part of a merit-based scholarship award. The Work Study program provides students the opportunity to pursue their studies while also gaining work experience in a professional environment.

Graduate Assistant Form to Evaluate Supervisor
As mentioned in the Graduate Assistant Handbook, graduate workers are allowed to evaluate their supervisors at the end of each semester. This is purely optional.
Employee Injury Form
If a student is injured while working, he/she must report the injury immediately to his/her supervisor, regardless of perceived severity and regardless of whether a doctor will or will not be needed.
Available Positions
All available student work-study positions are listed below. To view the full description for any position click on the job title. When you are familiar with the available positions, please click the Position Request form above in order to submit your top three choices for placement. Once you submit your top choices, we will work to match you with a supervisor. If additional information is needed or if a supervisor would like to speak with you prior to placement we will reach out. Please note that positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students MAY combine two positions in the event that the primary position will not provide 15 hours/week of work. Example: Primary position 8-10 hours/week, secondary position 5-6 hours/week. If you are interested in obtaining a secondary position to supplement the available hours in a primary position, please indicate that on your Position Request form.
For students who have already completed their first year at Aquinas, the opportunity for a Graduate Research Assistant position is also an option. Please fill out the position form, and, if accepted, you will be assigned to a faculty member who has requested an assistant.

Hours: 8-10/week
This is a position with the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), who occupy the lower level of the Aquinas Institute building. The Administrative Student Assistant will assist the Office Manager in a variety of regular administrative, communications, and human resources functions as well as lending assistance in occasional special projects.
Hours: 10-15/week
The Enrollment Management Admissions Assistant will assist in all duties of the recruitment and admissions process. Will serve as a front-line communicator with faculty, staff, and prospective students.
Hours: 15/week
The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Development Department in efforts related to fundraising, grant research, and hospitality. Learn first hand options in non-traditional ministry.
Hours: 10-15/week
This is a position with the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), who occupy the lower level of the Aquinas Institute building. The Development Student Assistant will be responsible for assisting the development office in efforts related to direct mail appeals, grant research, special events, and donor relations.
Hours: 10-15/week
A position with the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), who occupy the lower level of the Aquinas Institute building. The Finance Student Assistant will participate in recurring aspects of the finance function as well as certain special efforts throughout the year.
