Sr. Yen Pham graduated from Aquinas Institute of Theology last May with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Originally from Vietnam, Sr. Yen is a Dominican Sister of Saint Catherine of Siena in Tam Hiep, Viet Nam.
“I had hoped that I could learn all that can serve the needs of my mission. Now, looking back I think that learning is never enough so I will improve my knowledge and experience through formation and my work each day” says Sr. Yen. “I hope that I can bring all that I have learned to pass on those who I work within my future ministry.”
Sr. Yen joined the MAPS-CGS program to serve the children of her congregation.
“I will come back home and help our Sisters first through what I have learned, then, we will help people in the Parishes (training those who want to become our members)” she says. “Together, we will build the CGS program in Viet Nam and work for God's Kingdom.”
Part of the worldwide Order of Preachers, Aquinas Institute of Theology is a Catholic, Dominican-sponsored graduate school of theology offering multiple graduate degree and certificate programs on its campus in Midtown St. Louis, MO.
