In addition to Sr. LaReine-Marie’s presentation, the program will include a panel discussion with African-American women graduates of Aquinas Institute who are currently involved in ministry.

For most of us our mothers formed our first image of God. How can these African-American women help expand our understanding of the deity?

Sr. LaReine-Marie has her doctorate in systematic theology from theUniversity of Notre Dame. She is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
