The Church We Are: How Hispanics Are Building and Rebuilding U.S. Catholicism
With Dr. Hosffman Ospino
March 30th @ 7 p.m., Aquinas Institute of Theology

We live in a time of grace in which a new generation of Catholics, mostly Hispanic, is tasked with the responsibility of building and rebuilding Catholicism in the United States. What should we know about these Catholics? What can we learn from them? How can we empower them to strengthen our communities, schools and organizations? This presentation addresses these three important questions. Join the conversation.
Hosffman Ospino, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Theology and Religious Education at Boston College, School of Theology and Ministry where he is also Chair of the Department of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry. Hosffman has been the principal investigator for several national studies on Hispanic Catholics. He is the author and editor of 17 books and more than 200 articles, academic and general. Hosffman is a Past-President of the Academy of Catholic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS) and currently an officer of the Catholic Theological Society of America (CTSA).
