Kathia Arango, MA & Andrés Arango, MTS
Andrés Arango is the bishop’s delegate for Hispanic ministry and director of evangelization for the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey, leading the Secretariat for Evangelization and Multicultural Ministries. Currently, he is the coordinator of the America Continental Service of Communion and member of the International Service of Communion for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CHARIS) based in the Vatican, representing North America and the Caribbean. Andrés has served as a consultant to the USCCB Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs and member of the National Team of the V Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry. Andrés is a manufacturing engineer who holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. He has spoken at various conferences nationally and internationally. He and his wife are the proud parents of twin daughters. Andrés is the author of the books “Catholic Charismatic Renewal: A Current of Grace”, “Be my Witness” and “Spirituality and Prayer: A Guide to Talk to God and Live Like Jesus”.
Kathia Arango serves as the director of Hispanic ministry for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Her leadership includes being a recent past member of the National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors for Hispanic Ministry (NCADDHM), representing Region III of Hispanic ministry. Her experience includes holding leadership roles at the diocesan, national and international levels of the Hispanic Catholic Charismatic Renewal, as well as serving as preacher and presenter in local and international conferences and retreats. Kathia holds a Master of Arts in pastoral theology from Georgian Court University (New Jersey); a bachelor’s in accounting (Americana University, Asuncion, Paraguay) and a certificate in leadership formation from the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services Institute (Rome, Italy).
