Collaborators in Mission
Live and Proclaim the Word • Vive y Proclama la Palabra
Lilly Endowment inc.
Lilly Endowment Inc. was founded in 1937 by J.K. Lilly, Sr. and his sons Eli and J.K. Jr. for the “promotion and support of religious, educational or charitable purposes.” Throughout its history, the Endowment has sought to nurture the human spirit, intellect and character. When once asked what the main purpose of the Endowment should be, Eli Lilly said, “I hope we could help improve the character of the American people.” Our founders viewed character and human development in the context of community and encouraged unselfish concern for the welfare of others. The value they placed on philanthropy, which was in large part motivated by their religious faith, was expressed by Eli Lilly when he said: “Owing everything we are to the past and present generations, each of us must be willing to give unstinted help to others.”
Catholic Media Association (CMA)
The Catholic Media Association builds relationships and community for Catholic media professionals throughout North America and beyond. Journalists, communications experts, media and public relations professionals, advertising and marketing specialists, and others join the CMA for this network where relationships help support one another in mission.
The National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors for Hispanic Ministry (NCADDHM)
The purpose of our association is to create a ministry of collaboration. We engage in reflection and planning of Hispanic Ministry and provide continuing formation for diocesan directors serving in the United States. We provide assistance to our members while finding mutual support, recognition and acceptance. We develop a common ministerial vision while supporting the Memoria Histórica of the Encuentros. The board members affirm the reality of the church in the United States and support the reality of rich cultural diversity, and we continue to promote unity in pluralism as an expression of our catholicity. We thrive to assist Hispanics in the process of integration into the total life of the Church in society serving as missionary disciples.
The National Black Catholic Congress (NBCC)
Rooted in Our Faith We foster freedom and growth of Black Catholics as members of the Catholic Church and society. Our baptismal commitment impels us to evangelize and witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our mission is renewed and developed every five years at our national congress.
Association of Leaders in Lifelong Learning for Ministry (ALLLM)
We are a network of theological educators, program directors, consultants, program designers, and advocates of continuing education for ministry, who explore the needs of the ecumenical Church and trends in continuing education. We specialize in providing non-degree educational opportunities for church leaders (clergy and lay).
