Purpose Statement
Rooted in the Dominican tradition and dedicated to the mission of the Church,
the Center for Continuing Education
offers engaging and transformative spiritual and theological formation that is accessible to all.
Vision and Philosophy
- To offer certificate and non-certificate theological formation that is uniquely Dominican and competency based in its approach.
- To focus on theological study that aspires for the Truth by standing in medio Ecclesiae and is directed toward our charism of preaching.
- To provide non-credit theological formation to a broad range or interested adult learners, accessible through in person or virtual learning formats.
- To provide innovative ways to respond to new and emerging ecclesial frontiers in theology, ministry and preaching.
- To respond to formational needs of both the local Church and broader Dominican networks.
