Doctor of Ministry in Preaching (DMin)

Masters of Divinity degree or equivalent.
- Applicants who have not earned an MDiv degree are required to complete the Equivalency Evaluation Form prior to beginning their application for admission.
Three (3) years of preaching experience

Completion of Graduate Certificate in Health Care Mission with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Dual Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and Master of Social Work (MAPS-MSW)

Dual Notes

Applicants to this dual program must complete the application requirements for both the Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Aquinas Institute of Theology and the Master of Social Work at Saint Louis University. Acceptance into both programs is required for admission into the dual degree program.

Application Requirements

Dual Master of Arts in Theology and PhD in Health Care Ethics (MA-PhD)

Dual Notes

Applicants to this dual program must complete the application requirements for both the Master of Arts in Theology at Aquinas Institute of Theology and the PhD in Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University. Acceptance into both programs is required for admission into the dual degree program.

In order to follow the set curriculum of the MA-PhD agreement, students must apply and be admitted to the programs simultaneously for a Fall start.

Should a student miss the application deadlines to begin the dual program with a Fall start, they may apply as a Master of Arts in Theology student at Aquinas for Fall admission seek admission to the PhD program within their first semester at Aquinas. The student will follow the regular curriculum of the MA program at Aquinas and will not be considered an MA-PhD student until admitted to the PhD program, at which time they will begin to follow the MA-PhD curriculum.

Application deadlines listed below are for admission to the respective degree programs.

Those applicants to the Master of Arts in Theology, Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, and Master of Divinity degrees who wish to be considered for the Aquinas Scholars Program must complete their degree application by January 28.
