Federal Unsubsidized Loans
Students at Aquinas Institute of Theology are eligible to apply for federal, Direct Unsubsidized Loans after they have been admitted to their degree program. Students who wish to be considered for this type of aid must complete the following steps and submit the following documents:
Step 1: FAFSA
Students wishing to receive a federal loan must begin by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Aquinas Institute's school code is G01632.
Step 2: Federal Loan Application
In order to apply for a federal loan through Aquinas, students must complete the federal loan application.

Step 3: Financial Aid Profile
Completing this new student profile helps the the Financial Aid Office process your application as quickly as possible.
Important Notes:
Please note that Federal loans are only available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
You should submit your application for federal financial aid as soon as possible. However we do not review students for financial aid until after they have been admitted.
The total financial aid awarded to you cannot exceed your cost of attendance, which includes grants, scholarships, non service stipends, tuition remission, and your federal financial aid.
