AOR Faculty Profiles
Welcome from Center Director
Welcome to the Ashley-O’Rourke Center for Health Ministry Leadership at Aquinas Institute of Theology. We’re thrilled that you’re pursuing new opportunities for growth and formation in Catholic health care mission.
As you explore this website, I trust that you’ll be inspired by our new initiatives. While our dual Master of Arts in Theology and PhD in Health Care Ethics remains strong and continues to attract some of the most promising future leaders in Catholic health care, we are especially excited to welcome our first incoming class in the Online Graduate Certificate and Master of Arts in Practical Theology programs. I hope that you’ll consider joining this fantastic group of peers and colleagues who reflect the entire spectrum of Catholic health care in the United States.
The need for programs like these has never been greater, but thankfully, they have also never been more accessible. Our online offerings have been designed to accommodate the lives of busy health care professionals who still want the highest quality in theological education. Our distinguished faculty includes trained experts in theology and health care mission, and you’ll have the opportunity to engage them directly as they share their wisdom.
While these programs may be new, the AOR Center has been preparing health care professionals for service to the Church and to the people of God for nearly two decades. Grounded in the Dominican intellectual tradition of study and the moral teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas, we form leaders who are currently shaping the future of Catholic heath care.
As the AOR Center continues to grow and flourish, we want to be a resource for you and your colleagues. Whether you’re just beginning your journey in Catholic health care or you’re a senior-level executive, the AOR Center is here for you. We look forward to expanding our offerings, and we look forward to partnering with you as you live out your vocation in the healing ministry.
Sincerely,
Stewart Clem, PhD
