About
Fr. Bouchard served as professor of moral theology from 1986 to 2008 and then as President from 1992 to 2008 at Aquinas Institute of Theology. His original areas of specialization were fundamental moral theology, but he also taught sexual morality Catholic social teaching.
He was Vice President for Theological Education at Ascension Health, Provincial of the Province of St. Albert the Great, and now serves as Senior Director of Theology and Sponsorship at The Catholic Health Association of the United States.
His areas of interest have shifted toward ecclesiology and Catholic health care, especially sponsorship, as well and clinical, ethical and public policy issues for transgender persons.
