My road to ministry began with the birth of my three children. They taught me what it means to live for another, to sacrifice and to willingly pour my whole self into ensuring their fullness of life.  As we grew up together, they stirred my desire to live a life of purpose and meaning.  I enrolled at Aquinas in 2005 with the hopes of continuing to minister to young people through youth ministry.  I was involved in parish youth ministry for seven years.  I was also employed by Covenant House Missouri during that time, ministering to homeless and at-risk youth.

In 2011, I sensed a need for change and returned to Aquinas to complete my graduate certificate in spiritual direction.  Since completing that program in 2012, my life has been truly abundant.  I am a full time spiritual director and retreat leader.  I find myself ministering primarily to women who are claiming their voice and seeking ways to use that voice for healing, justice and peace.

I am passionate about being an instrument of Wisdom and inviting others into this Grace filled and necessary path.  My work in spiritual direction and retreat leadership is primarily focused on reminding people who we really are.  Hildegard of Bingen would say we are all “divine sparks of the radiance of God’s brilliance.”  Or as Catherine of Genoa so beautifully said, “My deepest me is God.”  I believe the path to discovering God opens us up to discovering our deepest, truest selves.  I feel grateful to be part of a ministry that leads people to God, to the sacred ground of self and ultimately into the fractured spaces of our world.  My unfolding journey is blessed by my husband Jack, who encourages, supports and loves me as I am.
