Vocare Center Programs

The primary work of the Vocare Center is to provide spiritual and theological formation for leaders. In 2000 Aquinas Institute became the first and only graduate school of theology to offer a Master’s Degree in Health Care Mission.

Building on the success of that program, the Vocare Center has developed a variety of customized graduate level, non-degree certificate programs for leaders in a wide range of professional contexts including health care, education, and long-term nursing care. Similar programs are being developed for leaders in business administration, social services, parishes, and religious congregations.

Although each program can be customized to the needs of a particular group, all programs maintain a commitment to:

  • Adult learning practices in a collaborative community of colleagues
  • Hybrid learning with online and face-to-face dialogue
  • Reflection that integrates spirituality, theological knowledge, cultural/contextual analysis with personal and professional experience
