This concentration provides foundations in biblical, systematic and pastoral theology, a deepened understanding of the theory of spiritual direction, and supervised practice in the art of spiritual direction for women and men engaged in the ministry of spiritual direction. The program assumes that the applicant's spiritual and ministerial gifts for spiritual direction have been identified and is designed to strengthen directors in giving spiritual guidance.
