The Veterans Administration has contracted with the St. Vincent de Paul Society to provide services to homeless veterans who have been involved with the criminal justice system. A team of case managers assist veterans in finding and furnishing suitable accommodation. They also provide wrap-around case management services to help the veterans re-establish roots in the community.

We give direct service to ex-offenders who are recently released. We have housing programs for veterans with a prison record, for people who have lived on the street, and for the very poor who have no other assistance when they are released. The folks we house can always use a pastoral person to help them.
