Leadership Formation for Healthcare Ministries

"There is a world of difference between knowing the tradition and heritage we draw from, and having been formed in that tradition…for me it is the difference between doing mercy and being mercy."

--Tom Edelstein, MA-HCM 2013

Aquinas Institute’s Mission to Sponsored Heath Care Ministries

Welcome

Theology for Life! This is not a simple slogan at AI. It is our conviction that God meets each person at that juncture where real life circumstances and the hope for meaning intersect. We believe in the transformative influence that institutionalized ministries can have for a future open to the Reign of God. AI’s goal in leadership formation is to foster the spiritual maturity and leadership potential of women and men committed to making a real difference in our world: leaders who fully embrace the opportunities and challenges of their health care institutions as ministries of the Church.
