Dr. Beaton grew up in New Hampshire. Her theological vocation is rooted in her ministry experience and in a fascination with the ways that humans have approached God in liturgical prayer. She lives in St. Louis with her spouse. She enjoys gardening in her backyard and traveling elsewhere whenever opportunities present themselves.
