Even though it is relatively quiet here, the summer term offers opportunities for study, intellectual and spiritual enrichment at Aquinas Institute of Theology. Monday through Friday of this week, June 17-21, 2013, two faculty members are working together to offer a week-long Scripture and Spirituality workshop.
In the mornings Fr. Seán Martin, Associate Professor of Biblical Studies, presents “Journeying with Matthew’s Gospel”, the second of three annual workshops reflecting on the liturgical lectionary cycle.
Sr. Juliet Mousseau, R.S.C.J., Assistant Professor of Church History, is offering an afternoon workshop, “Pathways of the Spirit”, inviting participants to explore their relationship with God by looking into the spiritual lives of significant Christian figures, including St. Benedict and St. Teresa of Ávila.
