 (St. Louis) Sr. Catherine Vincie, R.S.H.M., Professor of Liturgical and Sacramental Theology at Aquinas Institute of Theology, was the keynote speaker at the third annual Newman Convocation at Saint Louis University's St. Francis Xavier (College) Church on Thursday, October 11, 2012. This year’s convocation, presided over by St. Louis’ Archbishop Robert Carlson, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council, and had as its theme Opening the Council: Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy – Telling the Story. Daniel Finucane, Ph.D., of Saint Louis University, and Fr. Jason Schumer, S.T.L., of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, were respondents to Catherine Vincie's presentation.
