Aquinas Institute of Theology continues the 2011-202 annual Roundtable luncheon/lecture series, offering insights from experts on issues important to the Catholic community. This month's session is hosted by Sr. Catherine Vincie, R.S.H.M., Professor of Liturgical and Sacramental Theology at Aquinas Institute.
Sr. Catherine will present "The Art of Dying: Spirituality and the Happy Death", exploring how the Church has helped believers face death in the past, and how we today can experience both life and death with hope and gratitude. This Roundtable session will be held on April 18, 2012 at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel, 7730 Bonhomme, Clayton, MO 63105.
The Roundtable begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m. The presentation begins at noon followed by a brief question and answer period. The Aquinas Roundtable is held at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel (7730 ). Each lunch and lecture is $23. Reservations must be made seven days in advance. Full reimbursement will be made for cancellations made at least one week prior to an event.
The Aquinas Roundtable is an outreach ministry of Aquinas Institute of Theology. The series was created to share the rich theological and spiritual heritage of Aquinas Institute with our alumni, friends, and neighbors in the St. Louis area. Each session includes prayer, lunch, a short presentation, and an opportunity for questions and discussion. It is our goal to provide you with an intellectually interesting and spiritual engaging forum to learn more about important issues that impact the lives of Catholics and the Church.
