Aquinas Institute of Theology Board members, faculty, staff and friends gathered on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, to celebrate outgoing Aquinas Institute President, Fr. David Caron, O.P. He will take on the role of Director of Evangelization for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Louisiana in September. Sr. Catherine Vincie, R.S.H.M., led the prayer service, which was immediately followed by a special blessing from Aquinas Institute Vice President, Fr. “It has been a blessing for me to serve the Aquinas Institute community during these past two years," said Fr. Caron. "I am honored to have spent my time in this academy of scholars. I am more convinced than ever of the need for Aquinas’ important mission; namely, to educate and form present and future ecclesial ministers to preach, to teach to minister and to lead.”
