Br. Carl Joseph Paustian, O.P., an Aquinas Institute of Theology student, renewed his vows as a Dominican for two years at St. Albert the Great Priory and Novitiate in Irving, Texas this past Sunday at the 11:15 a.m. Mass.  Br. Carl Joseph will petition for solemn (permanent) vows in two years.

Br. Carl Joseph began his life as a Dominican friar in August of 2011, when he began the novitiate year.  He professed simple (temporary) vows for two years on August 30, 2012.  For the next pastoral year, Br. Carl Joseph will be assigned to Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati Community in Lubbock, Texas.  He will work as the Catholic Campus Ministry in Texas Tech University and at St. Elizabeth's Parish, both of which are ministires of the Domincan Friars.
