(Pictured Above): Sister Carla Mae Streeter, O.P., (far right), instructs a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (MAPS-CGS) class in the program designed to enable students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of scripture and liturgy while at the same time heightening their professional development as ministers in the Church.
The majority of the students who enroll in the Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program are offered theological and spiritual formation to strengthen their catechetical training in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based religious formation program for children between three and twelve years of age.
Multiple students from the class above anonymously commented that Sr. Streeter was an awesome and articulate teacher that all students enjoyed. One particular student conveyed that although she took the class for one reason, she has learned quite a bit more than expected through all of the helpful references passed along by Sr. Streeter for use in their future lives.
"I truly enjoy working with this class of delightful and wonderfully self-motivated learners," said Sr. Streeter.
