The Medical Ethics for Pastors workshop at Aquinas Institute is divided into two three-hour sessions, which can be taken individually - or concurrently. The first of these sessions covers the issue of caring for persons at the end of life, or for persons who have serious and life-threatening illnesses. The second session addresses other medical ethical issues, especially at the beginning of life, with care and respect for all concerned.
"I'm from Vietnam and here to try and get a grip on the issues involving the relationship between death and dying and care and comfort," said participant Fr. Joseph Nguyen, O.F.M. (top right) "This week we're learning more about the sanctity of life, and I want to bring this knowledge back to the mission in Vietnam."
