Aquinas Institute Associate Professor of Homiletics and Director of the D.Min Program, Sr. Honora Werner, O.P., explains that these individuals tell us that their Aquinas Institute degree and the knowledge that it symbolizes give them the confidence they need to be, and to spread, the good news in parish ministries like Bible Study, Right of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), and beyond.
“Some speak of bringing their message to shelters and institutions where children are housed, as well as to parish staff and diocesan officials. They know that they’ll never stop studying, and some plan to write and present in the future,” said Werner. “All of this reflects on the strength that they gather and the creativity nurtured at Aquinas, and we’re proud of them and pray every blessing as they go forth."
